Cd rack from old Cds
Yes. Old CDs still have a purpose and need not to be dumped or burned that might cause air pollution. Instead of throwing them, its more advisable to find ways to recycle or reuse them.
While surfing the internet i came across with this site that teaches how to recycle damaged and old CDs into a useful work of art. The instruction is very easy that even young ones can follow. And the materials to be used are pretty much available anywhere around your house.
For those who want to test their craftmanships, here are the materials needed.
- 15 CDs
- 1 5mm threaded rob (usually sold in 1m lengths)
- 8 5mm hex nuts
- 5 5mm lock nuts
- 100 5mm rivet washers (usually sold in packets of 100)
- 1 20mm dowel stick
- Permanent marker
Believe me or not, i already tried this at home. And it ended up giving me an instant CD rack with unique-design. I’ll post here my creation soon.
