I will submit that JFK wasn’t referring to alien attacks and UFO threats. And as the quote stands on its own, it bears great importance to us all.
The insistence that our planet is in pretty bad shape may have long been overdrawn. But it remains a fact. That being said, attention must now shift to providing the pill. And it does not have to be a bitter one.
PROJECT PLANETOVERHAUL joins the rest of those who have began their slow but steady strides towards renewing the planet. Saving Earth is as important as our search for sources of livelihood, as imperative as our daily takes on the twists and turns of our personal relationships with family, friends, lovers, co-workers, clients or even carpool-mates: it is a reality that will not go away. It cannot be swept under the rug or hidden far inside a medicine cabinet. It is about you. It is about us.
